Dementia 13

Our Take

Dementia 13 (1963) - A young Francis Ford Coppola was given a handful of cash and a castle in Ireland to make this jagged, axe-wielding gothic nightmare. It’s a family reunion where the main guest is a killer with a grudge and a very sharp blade. The atmosphere is thick with secrets, underwater ghosts, and a cold, damp sense of inevitable doom. It’s a lean, mean horror flick that proves you don’t need a massive budget to leave a lasting, jagged scar on the viewer's psyche.
