The Arachnid Cyberpunk (2023) – AI

In this bold foray into cyberpunk territory, the iconic web-slinger takes a quantum leap into a dystopian future. OpenAI’s AI-generated Spiderman: Neon Web is a visual and narrative marvel. Set against a neon-drenched, rain-soaked metropolis, the film unfurls a breathtakingly detailed world where skyscrapers scrape the heavens and holographic billboards paint the night.

Cyberpunk Spiderman’s role is electric, seamlessly blending Peter Parker’s endearing quirkiness with a hardened, tech-savvy edge. His Spiderman grapples not only with formidable villains, but also with the augmented reality-infused cityscape that holds secrets at every turn.

The film’s AI-generated narrative introduces a roster of villains unlike any seen before. From cybernetically enhanced foes to rogue AI creations, each antagonist pushes Spiderman’s skills to their limits. The choreographed action sequences are a visual feast, showcasing a fusion of traditional acrobatics with cyber-enhanced combat.

The narrative arc, ingeniously crafted by AI, keeps viewers at the edge of their seats. The exploration of ethical dilemmas in an era of rampant technological advancement adds layers of depth to the storyline. Themes of identity, responsibility, and the relentless march of progress resonate profoundly.

Visually, Neon Web is a symphony of pulsating neon and rain-slicked streets. The CGI seamlessly integrates with real-world elements, creating a hyper-realistic backdrop for Spiderman’s exploits. The city breathes with a life of its own, akin to a character in its own right.

The film’s soundtrack, a fusion of cyberpunk beats and classic Spiderman motifs, underscores every moment with a rhythmic intensity that propels the narrative forward.

In Spiderman: Neon Web, we witness the evolution of a beloved character into a future that feels both familiar and startlingly original. It’s a testament to the potential of AI in storytelling, offering a glimpse into a cinematic future that is as thrilling as it is thought-provoking. This is Spiderman reimagined for a new era, a cybernetic symphony of heroism and technology that lingers long after the credits roll.

Multiplayer Game Fanfilm – “Among Us” (2020)

Amazing short film based on the online multiplayer game Among Us!

Production is great, visual effects look stunning for a short film, and it does a decent job of recreating the video game while doing a little bit of twist and turns around it.
Imagine making a game so good that people start making hollywood quality short films out of it, unofficially.

This one of the best short films i’ve ever seen. Not only does it tie into the whole idea of the game and twist it into a more serious turn but there’s actual genuine surprise and dramatic elements to it! With a high production value to back it up, why are so many people hating on this? This is so fun to watch, highly recommend.

You will love it when you play among but if not you’re still gonna be catched from the tension of the mystery.

KNIGHTMARE: Killing Joker (2019)

Batman Fan film is a great continuation of the Knightmare world!

Arkham Asylum is new home of the Joker. This time he is there voluntarily! His move is to train young Johnny Chill to bis mastermind in gaining respect of the Gotham’s underground.

>A satisfyingly dark take on the Batman franchise with some surprising moments and a particularly ghoulish looking Joker. The cinematography, acting and visual FX are all very well done. This iteration of the Joker is a little more evil and a little less playful than previous movie versions and it makes for a very tense experience.

The acting the camera work the small story but yet just has you really glued like this is something new but old at the same time!

I love that this guy was kinda of doing a bit of a Nicholson impression. You see so many Ledger’s or Leto’s in fan films, it’s nice to see Jack getting some love.

Kenobi: A Star Wars Story (2019)

Good old Star Wars atmosphere and a fan film that feels like high-budget production!

Obi-Wan Kenobi faces unforeseen threats on Tatooine as he watches over young Luke Skywalker.
The plot is engaging and managed to raise the stakes in a short time, the act is brilliant, fighting very realistic, cinematography and Tatooine scenery absolutely beautiful, costumes and props entirely believable, and the soundtrack (recorded by Budapest Scoring Orchestra) astonishing! For Satterlund, this is not first Star Wars fan film, but certainly the one that audiences like the best and judging from the rating on imdb, you can certainly say that he managed to improve over the last couple years.

If you are into Star Wars then this little gem is a must watch. It is with Obi-Wan and it is produced incredibly well, for a fan film at least. It is fan fiction like this that gives me and others new hopes that perhaps Star Wars can get back on track. So if Disney is reading this, head my advice: your new Kenobi series should get take notes from this and The Mandalorian. Or, in short, let passionate people, like the ones behind this fan film, bring true Star Wars to life.

The Dark Knight Returns (2016)

Super campy but amazing Batman film!

Adapted from Issue #1 of Frank Miller‘s seminal 1986 comic series, filmmaker Wyatt Weed (“Shadowland,” “Four Color Eulogy”) offers his unofficial fan’s take on the Batman mythos. Following the death of Robin at the hands of the Joker, Bruce Wayne (Weed) hung up the cowl and cape 10 years ago. But now Gotham City is in the grip of a violent crime wave, and the venerable 55-year-old billionaire has to decide if the time is right for the Caped Crusader’s return.

Rating this as a fan film rather than mainstream. As such it’s pretty decent; we’ve all seen a lot worse. Good sets (especially the Batcave) and acceptable acting. Ava Osthus as Carrie (future Robin) has the looks, but doesn’t carry herself as a gymnast would. Directing issue or needs further coaching? Hard to tell.

Wyatt Reed plays a respectable and believable middle-aged Batman. But serving as director as well has often been a flaw in fan films and this is no exception. The scenes with Batman are slow, more clownish than frightening, and don’t carry the foreboding nature of the graphic novel. If anything it makes the viewer realize how unlikely the Batman character would be in real life. Having no actual super powers– trying to take on a gang in an open indoor mall would be the worst possible setting for his guerrilla tactics. As such, most scenes with the Batman come across as superficial. In this episode Bats just wasn’t sinister enough. Need to remember he put FEAR into criminals, not make them laugh at his costume.

Terminator: The Dark Years (2020)

Fan-edit telling the complete story of Kyle Reese leading up to Terminator 1!

Terminator: The Dark Years was made using re-composited footage from the entire franchise including films, tv shows, games, and even theme-park attractions, this is an all-new story featuring Christian Bale, Linda Hamilton, Anton Yelchin, Michael Biehn, Edward Furlong, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Nick Stahl, Summer Glau, Brian Austin Green, Robert Patrick, and many more surprises for the hardcore fans.

In this story, John and the resistance will have to defeat the T-800, T-1000, T-X, T-3000, Harvesters, Rev-9, and several others.

I’ve added blood to several scenes to return the series to its horror roots, and give the film a bleak tone. The intention of this project is to create something nostalgic, yet new. I hope to appeal to every Terminator fan.

Friday the 13th: Return to Crystal Lake (2019)

https://www.youtube.com/embed/Q4S-qwYRzW0

Jason Vorhees Fan-Film!

Friday September 13th, in the year of 1957, a group of counselors for Camp Crystal Lake were assigned to watch that summers group of young children. Unfortunately, one by the name of Jason Voorhees “accidentally downed” in the camp lake. Seeking revenge, his mother returned to the camp and killed all but one of the counselors, Alice, who eventually ended Pamela’s life by beheading her with a machete.

Now, exactly 62 years later on the anniversary of Jasons death, a particular group of friends set out to make some fast cash, posing as counselors to help troubled teens at the infamous Camp Crystal Lake. Disregarding all camp fire stories of the erringly haunted, dangerous and deserted camp, they lead the teenagers out into a great unknown with no way to escape. Here, they will all meet their fate to the reawakened Jason.

Star Wars: Neon Noir (Fan Edit)

Flips the standard story line on its head to give a radical new interpretation.

Obi-Wan takes his protege, Anakin Skywalker, to a nightclub on some unspecified Jedi business – presumably involving Darth Maul, who we saw them battle in the pre-title sequence. There, they are attacked by a bounty hunter, who is killed with a poison dart before she can tell them who hired her. When her killer gets away, Obi-Wan tracks the deadly dart to the clone factories at Kamino. On his arrival, the Kaminoans assume he’s checking on the progress of the army currently being produced….

This is a fan edit of the prequel trilogy into one feature length film. It has a new score, story, and tone that is hopefully akin to the films of Michael Mann and Nicholas Winding Refn. It is an experiment in editing and audio to try and find a new take on the fall of Anakin Skywalker.

Music by: The Chromatics, The Chemical Brothers, Cliff Martinez, Kavinsky, John Carpenter, Brian Eno, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, NIN, Tangerine Dream, Proud, College, Daft Punk, and Clint Mansell.

Superfast & Superfurious (2015)

Superfast! (also known as Superfast & Superfurious) is a 2015 American parody comedy film written and directed by Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer. The film is a parody of The Fast and the Furious film series.

I am a big F&F fan and that franchise despite its ridiculousness and ludicrous (or ludicrous :D) stunts, is a good fun to watch. This one is good in its own way and I liked the little effort the writers made to incorporate parts from 6 movies in to one.

TIE Fighter (2015)

Most epic fan film ever created, pure awesomeness!

A short Star Wars animation, focused on the Empire, drawn and shaded in the style of classic ’80s anime. Empire and rebel forces engage in a frantic all-or-nothing dogfight in space, but the Empire has 3 Tie Fighter aces up its sleeve.

Combining incredible animation and a score that will get your blood pumping, this 7-minute video will make you want to sign up for the Imperial Navy.

Heavily inspired by the TIE Fighter video game (probably still the best space flight-sim to this day), no shortcuts are taken on the animation when to comes to rapidly changing camera angles and sleek design. In ways it reminds of the “Call of the Primitives” episode of the original Transformers, but it also has a strong hint of anime (more Akira than Ghost in the Shell).

Supermen: World War (2019)

Best Superman fan film I’ve seen since Superman: Requiem (2012)

Lois Lane (Kerri Miller) and Clark Kent (Kevin Caliber) get assigned to the Press Corps in France near the end of WWII, in March of 1945. Lois and her photographer, Private Donald Callahan (Charlee Soffer), get kidnapped by Nazi Super Soldiers and taken as hostages to Berlin. To rescue them, Superman must stand up to Hitler’s Super Soldiers. They are more formidable than any foes he has faced previously. Opposing philosophies of what the “Superman” is being explored. This film is Superman at his roots. The Director puts his Grandfather, who really was a WWII photographer, in the Jimmy Olson role. Supermen: World War is a feature-length Fan Film and a passion project!

“Supermen, World War” is a fan-made feature film that is neither endorsed nor affiliated with Warner Bros and DC comics. This is made for the fans and by the fans!
