The best original inventive and first zombie/ghoul movie!

Night of the Living Dead is a 1968 American independent horror film written, directed, photographed and edited by George A. Romero, co-written by John Russo, and starring Duane Jones and Judith O'Dea.

This movie is the absolute blueprint of what a true horror movie should be. It is my favorite movie it touches on so many different enduring issues they face humankind. It also displays irony that everyone is not knowledgeable of this movie will be shocked by the events in it. I have met the cast of night of living dead and they are fantastic people.

Night of the Living Dead was restored by the Museum of Modern Art and The Film Foundation, with funding provided by the George Lucas Family Foundation

Written and Directed by: George A. Romero Starring: Duane Jones, Judith O'Dea, Karl Hardman
