Alien: Alone Poster

The best out of all the Alien 40th short stories!

Hope, an abandoned crew member aboard the derelict chemical hauler Otranto, has spent a year trying to keep her ship and herself alive as both slowly fall apart. After discovering hidden cargo, she risks it all to power up the broken ship in search of human life.

This short story by Noah Miller is for me the best out of all the Alien 40th short stories. Unlike the other stories it focuses more on the "philosophical" themes brought on the Alien franchise rather than the horror. I thought the music fit the story well and the setting makes you really feel for the main character...an android named Hope who was left completely alone on an empty station. I feel this story could bring a new direction to the franchise, in fact it could easily be a TV series with several episodes. This is a must watch for people who are sensible to the story of David (aka fans of Prometheus and Covenant). Thanks to Noah and his team for bringing this to life, he took a risk with it and I loved it! - tchevrierdechoudens
