College (1927) - Keaton trades his intellect for a varsity sweater and finds out that the physical world is a cruel, mocking bitch. Watching him fail at every sport known to man is a masterclass in the comedy of frustration and athletic incompetence. It all culminates in a pole-vaulting rescue through a second-story window that would make an Olympian’s head spin. It’s a satire of the jock culture of the twenties, fueled by a man who could do things with his body that defy the very laws of biology and common sense.
