Review:
“Spawn: The Recall” is a 2014 French fan-made short film, but don’t worry, the language here is English, so you will not need any subtitles. The film actually begins nicely with a mother who loses her son and searches him for the rest of the film. Sadly, everything after this solid beginning loses its pace. Not bad for a fan-film but there was certainly potential for more. The ending is open, so maybe they intended to make a sequel to this one. Hasn’t happened so far and for me personally there is not much appeal in this one here that would make me curious about a possible second movie. I hoped this would be better. Not recommended.
